Equine Touch is a holistic form of bodywork that involves gentle, non-invasive soft tissue massage, often described as a “gift to your horse.” This powerful and effective technique fosters a two-way communication between the practitioner and the horse.
Key to the process are coherence in stance, exhalation, intent, and integrity from both human and equine participants. This mutual rapport allows the horse to guide the pace and outcome of the session, inviting rather than forcing changes to occur. Factors such as the horse's teeth, hooves, nutrition, saddle fit, and rider balance are all considered due to their impact on the horse's overall well-being.
The carefully sequenced movements of Equine Touch allow the process to naturally unfold, revealing and addressing areas of imbalance not only in the physical body but also in the cellular and energetic realms.

The sequential journey into which each carefully considered move unfolds; enables the process to naturally unfurl and open up areas of disparity. Within not just the physical, but also the cellular & energetic realms within.
The technique targets specific areas of the body, including the fascia, tendons, ligaments, joints, muscle tissue, and meridian pathways. By focusing on these key points, the process addresses imbalances and releases stuck energies, or "Ki," with the intention of helping the body achieve enhanced levels of homeostasis (balance) and facilitating natural healing.
The sequence of movements aims to release and realign traumatized muscle tissues, improving muscle tone and aiding recovery from injuries or muscle atrophy. Additionally, the technique often enhances circulation, leading to reduced pain, detoxification, and lymphatic drainage.
After addressing the physical aspects, the horse is encouraged to relax and integrate the changes on a cellular level, promoting overall well-being.

By strengthening the autonomic nervous system, the modality facilitates repair and renewal throughout the body. It is a remarkable practice that supports your horse or pony on physical, physiological, emotional, and behavioural levels.
With several years of experience working with this technique, I’ve had the privilege of helping numerous equines. Often referred to as the "gift of touch," it enables the horse or pony to feel safe and trust the process.
This approach addresses a wide range of issues, from physical and physiological to emotional and behavioural.
